I went back to the same place that the Myrtles were and found them still there.
As far as I can tell, they are singing a similar song to the Audubon but the
first part is much faster and quieter such that I do,nt hear the 6-8 individual
warbles that the Audubon is singing. Also, the Audubons here are finishing with
a loud descending trill that i am not hearing with the Myrtles. This morning
(right now!) there is a wave of warblers in my apple trees. At least 50 birds,
mainly Yellow-rumps and including many Myrtles but probably 2:1 Audubon. I tried
to tape them and will continue to do so but there are Bl.-thr. grays as well
and a lot of chickadees calling at the same time.
