Just so you don't think we're missing out on all the fun, there are
numerous forest fires still raging in Oregon, mostly on the east
side of the Cascades. There was a 35,000 acre fire near Warm Springs;
two fires of about 5,000 acres near Crane Prairie; just last night
there were 18 new fires on the Malheur Nat. Forest. Our fires have
generally been in remote areas, so they don't attract as much
attention as those up your way.
