Subject: Black Skimmers

For those of you who will be birding in Oregon in 10-15 years time, you
may be interested to know that a pair of Black Skimmers has bred
successfully in San Francisco Bay for the first time this year. Since
the Bay Area is closer to Oregon than Sab Diego, this species should be
a potential vagrant if a large population gets established.
