I'm working on the typesetting and lay-out of a small poetry anthology
that'll be published by the National Reserve Center at Padilla Bay. This
anthology is the result of an all-day nature poetry workshop facilitated
by Tim McNulty at Padilla Bay, which I attended as a birthday present to
myself this spring. I highly recommend next year's workshop.

I want to illustrate the pages of this anthology with clip art, and did
find a few suitable graphics in a book I finally purchased, after a
fruitless search through several volumes at the public libraries and
the specialized libraries here on campus. BUT -- cutting and pasting these
illustrations is a pain in the patookas, and the results have been less
than perfect. Can anyone recommend MacIntosh (and Aldus Pagemaker)
compatible software with high-quality graphics of marsh grasses,
such as pickleweed, and shorebirds, particularly Sanderlings? I'd also
like a good likeness of a merlin or a Red-Winged Blackbird, as well as
*batilleria* and small crustaceans native to marshes and mudflats.
