Hello everyone...
A friend and I will be travelling Hwy 20 from Whulge to the Pend Oreille
watershed this next week, and would appreciate any ideas for birding. our
base during the majority of the week will be the Sullivan
Lake/Salmo-Priest area -- we've both heard about great owling there, but
don't have any details. Any hotspots on the road east?
Tips on other points of interest are always welcome as well -- especially
historical sites, quality kitsch Americana, whatever. You can reply to
either my address below or Karen McMains (mcmains at henson.cc.wwu.edu).
This week would be good -- we're leaving Monday.
(After listening in for quite some time, we are expecting some major
pearls of wisdom from Dennis Paulson...)
