My wife and I will be birding in Washington state the first week after
Labor Day. We will mostly be in the Olympic National Park and along the
coast, including a Westport pelagic trip.

Does anyone know if we can find either Rosy Finch or White-tailed Ptarmigan
in the Hurricane Ridge area of the park, or any other locations? Also are
there any good spots to see Pygmy Owls? Dare I mention Spotted Owls
knowing the political implications these days?
