In response to Alan Richard's request for Swainson's thrush departure
dates, I looked in our collection and found six SWTH specimens from the
Northwest from October. The latest are ones from 9 Oct from La Conner, WA,
and 13 Oct from Sauvie's Island, OR. As you've heard me say before, museum
bird collections *are* valuable to ornithology.
