Before signing off Tweeters and leaving for a six week back-roads auto
tour of this great country of ours, I want to thank all who responded to
my request for help on purchasing a scope. About a dozen sent their
ideas. I ended up buying a Kowa TSN-4 from Eagle Optics. Great service. I
took the advice of several and ordered three different eyepieces,
including the zoom to try them out. After using them out at Long Beach
and at Lake Sacajawea here in Longview, I sent the zoom back and kept a
25X and 40X. I was really startled by the clarity of the images.

Now we are off to look at birds and to enjoy some flyfishing and
sightseeing. Life is good!
