Can anyone confirm the rumor I heard that the broken-wing peregrine was
taken to PAWS and they decided to euthanize it--even though it was an
endangered species and banded? Someone said they just thought it was "just
a hawk" and didn't contact other interested parties. Anyone know more about
this? If true, PAWS should be censured and perhaps legal action taken. If
false, it's a rumor that should be nipped in the bud right away!
