It has been fun reading about the Ross' Gull at McNary. It was a life
bird for me when visiting western Russia last year. We saw a small group
on the Gulf of Finland just off the grounds of the Summer Palace west of
St. Petersburg. Those birds had the definite neck rings but the pink
tinge was not obvious.
