Lewis Unit, Wilapa Bay NWR, Pacific Co. WA
There are 5 TRUMPETER SWANS using the ponds. Lots of ducks
around as well. 1 Long-billed Dowitcher was working the channel.
5 Meadowlarks, 3 Virginia Rails and a singing SORA (most of
the summer call).
The YELLOW-BILLED LOON was still at the Ft Canby Boat Landing.
A flock of about 50 Least Sandpipers were hanging out in the
parking lot at the Ilwaco Boat Basin along with 10 Dunlin and
a Brant.

whistled up a Pygmy Owl near Ilwaco,WA.
