The number of wood ducks at Portland's Crystal Springs park has
exploded the past two years. There are new boxes up, so this may
be the sole reason why, but thought I'd pass it along in response to
Lawrence McCloskey's observation. There are at least 100, perhaps
a couple of hundred, in this relatively small (but watery) park.
