Just got back from the Boundary Bay area:
Saw the Emperor Goose at the golf course in Tswassen along with
a Turkey Vulture cruising the shore.
(I believe the Emperor Goose to have escaped from a zoo on the
Aleutians and straggled down to BC with a gaggle of Ross' Gulls)

Reifel Refuge:
few dozen Trumpeter Swans, couple of Tundras, 2 Sandhill Cranes,
1 Swamp Sparrow, 1 Harris' Sparrow (at the little clearing in the corn patch
where seed has been scattered on the left just after the entrance gate,
look there also for a partial albino Junco, Lincoln's and White-throated Sp.,
and a Virginia rail)

Iona Island/ Sea Island, Vancouver:
1 Snow Bunting (near the end of the S. jetty)
1 Short-eared Owl

Tswassen Ferry Terminal Jetty:
3 Hepburn's Rosy-Finch (the location is confusing, way back near the
beginning of the jetty, take a left into the paved turn-off, which
quickly turns to gravel, follow the gravel to the end. The birds were mucking
about on an old boat full of junk.)
