How about a brief discussion of the Fox Sparrow races occurring in
Washington in winter? I have often seen the dark-brown forms, but
yesterday saw one in Magnusson that had quite a bit of gray on its head
and nape, as is more common in the eastern forms. So I am curious - what
races occur here in winter, where are they from?
