Subject: Bird Breeding Record Program

First, I want to thank you for passing on the pieces from Birdchat. The
recent thread on the death of the Pine Siskin was an outstanding example
of an intelligent and considered conversation - something that is
sometimes all too rare, both on the Internet and in our daily lives.

For the sake of the record, the referenced bird breeding program is

abrdr200.zip (not abrdr20u.zip as stated in Birdchat)

This is a rather complete recordkeeping program for BIRD BREEDERS, i.e.,
those who breed birds in captivity and want to keep detailed records on
such activities. I suspect that some Tweeters subscribers may assume
that the program is related to field records of breeding birds. This is
most definitely not the case. You may want to pass on this clarification
so that others won't spend time downloading and installing a program they
may not want or need.
