If there is enough interest, I will be leading an all-day birding trip through
the eastern San Juan Islands on Jan.14.We have a large (65') and luxurious boat
but need about 20 people to cover expenses (probably around $25 each). This will
be a good opportunity to learn how to differentiate the many different loons,
grebes, cormorants, and sea ducks plus several alcid species that are common
here in winter.Marine mammals are an added attraction.If interested in further
