Just another comment about publishing on e-mail vs. paper.

I'm not in a position in which I will get promotions or, really, any other
kind of reward from my institution by publishing. However, I assume one's
parent institution gains prestige by the papers published by its members,
thus I could do it for my institution if not for my own ego. And the ego
should not be underrated....

But there are a lot of people in academic positions in which nonpublishing
is indeed perishing, and I imagine those people do have to think twice
about where their words are headed.

I am curious about the citation of the paper you mentioned, Chris, if you
can retrieve it. I suppose the best way to do it would be to put out a
query on e-mail (chuckle).

Dan, maybe you can publish someday "The Collected Works of Tweeters."
