The female Gargany found by Bob Woodley(?) last weekend was still present at
the boat basin just south of the Richland Shilo Inn until at least 2pm this
afternoon (12/22)and was observed by a good number of birders. During my visit
it associated with 6 Am. Wigeons feeding in floating debris inside the north
end of the boat basin's breakwater along a floating barrier. It was easily
observed and at a close range of about 100 ft. The bird may be injured as it
sometimes seems to hold its left wing in an awkward, very slightly open
position.

At least one of the two Blue Jays reported by Dan Stephens was still present in
East Wenatchee near the NW corner of 8th and Kentucky Street on 12/20. It was
associating with several Steller's Jays.

The late Burrowing Owl was still present at the I-90 George exit this morning,
12/22.
