Dear Barbara

On your way up north, try the so-called Ptarmigan Ridge
trails out of Sunrise at Mt. Rainier (north side of Mtn.).
Have any 'tweeters seen ptarmigan in this area? Our
family hasn't seen any, but we generally do see grouse
of one kind or another.
