Hi,
I've been puzzled by the fact that OC Warblers are singing everywhere
around here in mid to late April, but are scarcely to be heard by mid
July. Now, perhaps this is because most are just migrating through, but
if so they are rather uncommon nesters. Alternatively, perhaps they just
get real quiet as they settle into nesting. Wilson's Warblers, by
contrast, seem to keep singing well into June. Does anyone have a theory?
