Orange-crowns arrive (at least on the north coast a full moth earlier than
Wilson's Warbler. It is not unusual for me to capture fledged HY OCWA by
the first week in June. My best hypothesis is that Orange-crowns finish
nesting earlier, so they shut up earlier.
They were, however still singing and defending territory at my banding
station as of June 5 of this year...
