I can think of several reasons NOT to discuss SAS (or National) on
tweeters

1) it would be nice to keep the discussions apolitical

2) many of us are neither members of SAS or National. I was newsletter
editor for NCWA until a year ago, and I still don't want to talk about
Audubon

3) you will miss many of the dedicated Auduboners who are not birders,
but who are on the Internet

4) it will guarantee very lively discussions, chase many birders away,
and then die
