Subject: Help, don't have time to do USFWS Breeding Birds!

Family and weather has made it difficult for me to complete the two
USFWS Roadside Breeding Bird routes I do. Anyone like to take one
or both very soon.

The first is Moses Lake, which should have been done yesterday. Good
birds to expect are egrets and grasshopper sparrows. To do this route
requires discerning six or seven different sparrow songs.

The other is Carlton, ends along the Twisp River Road. Difficulties
come from sorting out warblers, vireos, and thrushes in the dawn chorus.
You can campout at Blackpine Lake the night before, its only a few
miles from the beginning, and listen to numerous Poor-wills.

I'm heading out of town Monday morning, so if you are interested in
these two routes let me know today or tomorrow. You can either pick up
the maps and forms from my house in Wenatchee, or I can mail them to you.
