Diane,

I heard one singing in early June in a park in Richmond Beach, just north
of Seattle (where the Black-throated Sparrow was) that had no inflection
to the song whatsoever, producing a good imitation of a junco. Heard
another yesterday in the mountains east of Seattle with a double
inflection, up, then down. I can't tie the rather wide variation I've
heard to date systematically however, but it's something to look into
next spring.
