More importantly, what are the terns to do next year after the Navy has
built on their colonial lawn? My guess is that the Navy has plans for
that land, which most probably do not include them. I've heard that part
of Jetty Island is being fenced to exclude people, dogs, etc., but the
terns have not shown any interest in nesting there. Any ideas out there?
