One of the male eyasses from the WAMU site died early this a.m. at
Woodland Park Zoo after it was taken from the eyrie last night. It had
been in a weakened condition for some time, possibly from some
developmental problem. A post-mortem exam is to be conducted to try and
determine if there were any evident problems with this bird. The other
two eyasses are thriving.
