I'll be spending two weeks visiting family and vacationing
around Tacoma, south Sound, and Seattle from Aug 12-24.
I'd appreciate tips on good birding sites. I'll be on
Treasure Island southwest of the Kitsap Penn for 5 days, with
a boat to travel the south Sound.
Some birds I'm interested in:
SLATY-BACKED GULL - still at Tacoma waterfront?
BARRED OWL - will they still be at St. Edwards Park in Aug?
EMPEROR GOOSE - still in Everett?
GLACOUS GULL
TUFTED PUFFIN
RED KNOT
MURRELETS
PINE GROSBEAK
SIBERIAN ACCENTOR - just kidding...
SAW-WHET OWL
PYGMY OWL
FLAMM OWL
LONG-EARED OWL
THREE-TOED WOODP
BLACK-BACKED WOODP

Thanks in advance,
Steve Hampton Davis, CA
