Hi Tweeters,

I saw what I thought was a hybrid American x Eurasian Wigeon at Drumheller
fountain on th UW campus on Saturday (3/26) and again on Monday (3/28). Has
anyone else seen this bird? It has a reddish head and with an obvious
greenish band extending back from the eye. The sides are mottled gray.
Since a previous note mentioned that the "annual" tufted ducks at certain
places are thought to be the same individuals from year to year, I wonder if
this is the same bird I saw a year ago at the fountain.
