I just got this message from the manager of my server:

There seems to have been a problem with the Internet connection
link (conversion from PSI 56KB link to SprintLink T1). The result
is that all access to the Internet beyond the state's own backbone
has been cut off since Saturday, and will not resume until
6:00 AM, Tuesday, 5/3/94.

This means that you will NOT be able to connect to things outside of
COMPASS that are beyond the boundaries of the state's backbone.

AskERIC


This would explain the loss of BIRDCHAT
