Greetings all,

A friend and fellow birder from Southeastern Washington, Mike Denny
has a question he'd like some information on. Does anyone know of ROSS'
GEESE records for Garfield County, Washington? He has one record, but
want's to know if its a first!

Last Saturday, April 30, he and his wife MerryLynn (College Place)
saw 4 ROSS' GEESE in Garfield County along Lower Deadman Road, near
Central Ferry State Park (which isn't in Garfield County!). These same
birds were seen again the next day, Sunday, May 1 by Mike Willison
(College Place) and Andy Stepniewski (spelling???) (Yakima).

Mike Denny doesn't know of any other records for ROSS' GEESE in
Garfield County, and he would like to know if anyone else can report
incidence of such birds in that county. I'll pass on any information as
he doesn't have email access. Thanks loads.
