Subject: Rumors from Malheur

I just spoke with a friend who went off this week to Malheur. He says that
migrants are only just now beginning to appear, Vireos mostly and Nashville
Warbler. There was nothing special on the headquarters list from other
observers either.
He did find Black-backed Woodpecker near Cabin Lake and White-throated Swift
Ft Rock. On average, most of the really good stuff at Malheur appears between
May 20 and June 10, this includes most of the vagrant passerines.
