Our Peregrines are in the news! Washington Mutual announced today its
video support of the first pair of nesting Peregrines in Seattle.

WAMU now has a 24-hour video camera on the pair, and you can watch the
"action" on a monitor in the lobby of the WAMU Tower, 1201 3rd Av., in
downtown Seattle. There's a color video monitor inside the lobby; there's
a monitor that can be viewed from outside the building, too. WAMU has a
great sign inside, crediting the Falcon Research Group, the Seattle
Audubon Society, and all the other wonderful people who worked on this
project to get it to this point.

Note: There is not a lot of action now. You'll be lucky if you get to see
the incubating bird turn the eggs, much less get to see a "changing of
the guard." Still-you may get lucky--go down there and see!

For more news of the incubation and hatching (we hope!) and fledging, call
the Falcon Research Group Hotline: 517-9513.
