Hal,

Yes, apparently Terry is working on Whatcom, San Juan Co. is well along,
Skagit is in the works, I believe, in conjunction with some federal or
state program there, Snohomish & Pierce could be brought along quickly,
and certainly, in addition to Yakima, Okanogan, and Walla Walla
Cos., Kittitas might be ripe for some sort of conclusion.

I have had the same frustrations you have. I've targeting blank spaces
in the annual map summaries I squeezed out of Phil, but ended up in
several instances reinventing the wheel. I can, at least, identify for
you blocks with little or no coverage (through last summer at least, and I
can tell you what
I've been working on this spring so far -- e.g., Kirkland/Bridle Trails
SP & Yarrow Bay > 50 & this morning I did Alki pretty thoroughly --
strangly, these had been entirely neglected).

I think if we can publish, however preliminarily, county analyses, that
will give people some sense of accomplishment and help motivate the final
push. Also, county summaries could be prepared by a number of different
people and will make the final state book much easier to write.
