A pair of Black Oystercatchers is nesting and has nested in previous
years on Copalis Rock just offshore ca 1/2 mi n of the Copalis River
mouth, best reached from Iron Springs beach walking south. This is the
southernmost nesting site on the outer coast, I believe.
