Sunday 11/13/94

At least one, possible two Yellow-billed Loons were at the Ft Canby,
Pacific Co.,WA boat landing this morning.

The easy to identify one was feasting on crabs about 20 meters off
the boat landing parking lot. The other was fairly close when
we first pulled up, but was driven out into the main channel by=20
a crab boat. It appeared to still have a bit of summer plummage.

Two YBLO spent last winter in the same place.

There was also a Clark's Grebe among the Westerns at Ilwaco Boat Basin
and we watched a hunter shoot a Grebe from there as well.
