Hi Russell,

"Work" on Zonotrichia sparrows is a broad topic. If you are looking for
*birding* type information (abundance, distribution, identification) I
wouldn't know anybody as I am new to the birding community here.
However, here at the UW I seem to see a seminar that involves research on
White-crowned Sparrows almost weekly. OK, that's a big exaggeration.
Maybe one seminar a month *mentions* WCS's. But still, I think several
faculty in zoology maintain an active interest in some aspects of WCS
biology. In particular, John Wingfield, who studies hormonal regulation
of behavior in birds, does work with WCS's. If you want, I could try to
find out more for you, or put you in touch with John or try and dig up
more Zonotrichia types. Maybe you should e-mail me?

Chris
