Shop for guide books to birds and nature-in-general in the Pacific
Northwest/the Canadian SOUTHwest. The SAS shop (8028-35thAve NE in
Seattle) has a great choice of books and accessories for local birders.
Plus, it has fun gifts of all kinds... greeting cards, mobiles, etc. And
there's a great lending library of international-interest books. There
will be an open house on December 10, Saturday, so you can have free
coffee and cookies while you browse. This obscure shop is a godsend for
us nature-types for holiday-shopping. Check them out! Cheers--EB
Sorry.... do I sound like an advertisement? I'm a volunteer
at the shop occasionally, and I can tell you: the interplay
between regulars and volunteers and visitors is great fun! You're
likely to learn a lot... and find some good stuff, too!
