RARE BIRD ALERT
A confirmed *DUSKY THRUSH* of the 'eunomus' race was seen in the afternoon
of Nov. 22 at the Alaksen Wildlife Management Area on Westham Is. in Ladner
to the S of Vancouver BC Canada. The bird was with AMERICAN ROBINS at
Alaksen WMA just to the E of the Reifel Refuge.

Go W from the town of Ladner along River Rd for 3 km (2 mi) and turn R onto
the Westham Island Bridge, then take Westham Is Rd for almost 5 km (3 mi)
and take the *righthand* gate at the shared entrance to the Reifel Refuge
and the Alaksen WMA.

Public access to Alaksen is from 8:30 am to 4:40 PM and visitors must get a
pass at the Main Office.

This is the 2nd DUSKY THRUSH for BC this year, one being on the W side of
Vancouver Island three weeks ago.

Will update as often as possible.
