We also saw the gull today. A hint for observation: try driving to the
Oregon side, then take the first exit, east. The McNary wildlife
area/park is there, with roads going out to the riverbank. We had our
best looks here. Take a scope! We watched it for awhile, it eventually
flew over to Washington and back.
