The parrots have been around for several years. They feed in
my yard several times last year.
The first time I saw them was early on a Saturday morning in
September, eating my sunflowers. I was quite surprised and
wouldn't have believed it, but they came back several times
during the winter and feed at the feeders also.
There were five originally, but now I've only seen those four.
Large groups of robins migrating through always get me excited,
because that means a lot of the later migrants and
over-wintering birds will be in my favorite in-city birding
spots soon.
