How about a whimbrel? August 1992 brought an all-white whimbrel to Cape
Cod when I was out there. Saw it on 2 separate occasions, 10 days
apart. It was beautiful. Milky white all over, but brownish legs and
bill, and no pink eyes. I remember a British guy was the one who first
saw it, called it an 'albeeno', which is I guess how they pronounce it
(King's English again?).
