I remember finding a flock of wigeon on the Eugene CBC (with Alan Contreras)
that had 8 male Eurasians in it. This made us brave enough to attempt females.
The assumption, I think has all ways been EUWI=vagrant, therefore two in a
flock is unlikely.
We found in that flock at least 3-4 female Eurasians we were pretty confident
about and several more that probably were.
Here in Astoria, we have a lake that has a Eurasian Wigeon pair every year.

I don't report females, because I'm uncomfortable with the reliability of
the identification and I suspect this accounts for most of the imbalance
in reporting among other birders as well.

Boy, would I like to see a field with 150 male Eurasians in it. That would
be a sight.
