Just a short note on some of the birds seen at Alki Point, in West
Seattle the past few days. On 10/23 I saw one Ancient Murrelet heading
south in the company of two Rhinos. Also on the same day, on the
northeast side of Akli, I saw 5 Heermann's Gulls (4 imm. and 1 ad.).
Yesterday, 10/24 on the west side of the point, I saw 4 more Heermann's
Gulls. All of them were far out in the water heading south towards
Tacoma.
