On Sunday Oct 23 at about 2PM, my son and I spotted a wood duck at
Tracy Owen Station (sometimes still referred to as LogBoom Park) in Kenmore.
He was in close visual range as he paddled near the lake shore at the
entrance to the fishing pier extending into Lake Washington. Also in among
the coot a pair of Hooded Mergansers was seen. Kenmore is located where the
Sammamish Slough empties into the north end of Lake Washington.
