We also have a WHITE-WINGED DOVE at Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver
Island, Oct. 24 to at least Oct 30, visiting a feeder in early AM at 346
Hollywood Cresc., Ucluelet. No evidence to suggest an escaped bird, but that
possibility exists.

And finally, a late report of a DUSKY THRUSH, with AMERICAN ROBINS, at the
north end of the Tofino Airport, also on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
This is a single-observer sighting, but from a reliable observer who is
familiar with the species. It was seen on the afternoon of October 30. It
has not been re-reported to 11 AM to day, October 31, but I will advise
through the RBA if it is relocated and confirmed. Only other Canadian record
for DUSKY THRUSH was a bird at Langley, BC in the winter of 1992-93. As I
recal, there are 5 or 6 records for Alaska.

Cheers,

Bryan Gates
