Besides urban topography imitating natural breeding habitat, e.g., cliffs,
remember the tremendous concentration of food floating around in the form
of rock doves which abounds in much greater density in cities than out in
wild areas. I would guess that a peregrine simply doesn't have to work as
hard in the city to provide an adequate diet for its kids.
