Short-horned lizards have been found in southern British Columbia--two
specimens were collected within spitting distance of the border at Osoyoos
in 1910. There have been a couple of unsubstantiated sightings since, but
horned lizards are still on top of the most wanted sighting list for most
herpetophiles in BC.
