At Nisqually NWR, 11 Sep, Tom Schooley and I saw 4 Green Herons (both adult
and juvenile), 7 adult Greater White-fronted Geese, 8 Wood Ducks (the males
in fine full alternate plumage), and a fair warbler migration, with good ##
of Orange-crowned, Yellow and Black-throated Gray and one each Townsend's
and Wilson's. Also plenty of the resident Common Yellowthroats. The
warblers were ery patchy, with a few trees being full of them and then
nothing for hundreds of meters down the trail.
