Dennis,

I've not notices that type of migration, but will look for it.

I have noticed more Steller's Jays in urban wooded areas in the fall and
winter, with them departing in the early spring. In particular, in my
back yard and along the Burke Gilman trail. I assumed that these are
birds coming down from the mountains, or a higher elevation.

I don't know if anyone else has seen this type of movement, or if it's
what you're looking for.
