i am so pleased at having seen so many cedar waxwings today that i
could just explode! even though this week has gone really well for
me (so far, anyway) seeing a flock of cedar waxwings has suddenly
elevated my perception of this week into the "etherial" catagory.
believe me, i don't have many weeks that i can describe as "etherial."

in fact, every time i think of the collection of birds that i was
lucky enough to see today, i can hardly choose the first one to
gloat about!

(especially that western meadowlark...*sigh*...i just love those
birds! and that peregrine...what an incredible treat to show my
students! and...and...).

sorry about cluttering up your email boxes, but i am so happy about
this that i just had to gloat to some people that would really be
excited about this!
